The lightweight yet resistant RSR 10 adjustable retention system provides perfect personal fit. thanks to its wraparound structure and multiple micro-metric vertical and horizontal positions for the size adjustment.
In-Mold technology allows us to cast the external polycarbonate outer shell directly during the injection stage of the expandable polystyrene (EPS) impact-absorbing foam. The result is a much more rigid structure which is knock-resistant and extremely light, allowing for better ventilation system. The combined action of the EPS structure, the polycarbonate cap and exo-skeleton creates resistance to the mechanical action exercised by an impact and dissipates the energy in order to prevent it from being transferred to the head of the person wearing the helmet.
The airframe frontal padding minimizes the sweating process inside the helmet enhancing the air circulation and avoiding the release of unpleasant smells and ensuring the best level of performance.
I don’t do reviews much, but I bought it at the SBT GRVL event here in Steamboat and then used it in the ride. I love it. Sooooo comfortable, light and ventilation is excellent. The rep was great to deal with and emphasized getting a comfortable fit over getting the expensive model they had and I agree. This was lower price, but more importantly was the best , most comfortable fit.
I have had several helmets over the last 30 years, some great and some not so much, but comfort is the most important to me, along with safety of course. For me and my head this is by far the best one I have gotten. Just make sure it fits right for you.
Great fit! Highly visible in hot pink. And vents large enough to spray my head with water in the summer heat~
The Kelion glasses did not disappoint. First impression out of the box was how incredibly light they are, even more so than Spinshields. The fit is excellent and what I have come to expect from Rudy Project. The Kelion shape provides outstanding coverage and blocks wind and excellent side vision. Currently they are my go to glasses for road and gravel.
The Fluo kits look great, but mine (Fluo Red) faded to almost white in about 18 months with about 6-10 hours per week of outdoor use. This is not covered by warranty so I would avoid. Surprised to see a quality sun wear brand like Rudy Project making products that don't do well in the sun!
When I enquired I was told that this is a known problem, but I don't see it mentioned ahead of purchase on e-commerce sites like this one.
Extremely comfortabl and lightweight helmet. Plenty of airvents to keep me cool. Shape and colors make this look fast.
