Goggles provide the most protection from wind and snow of any eyewear option, as well as offering the opportunity to swap lenses if deemed necessary and provide corrective vision solutions for those who normally wear prescription lenses.
OTG – Over the Glass design
Spincut goggles allow those who normally wear eyeglasses to wear them inside the goggles. This the easiest and least obtrusive way for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy their normal vision correction while out enjoying the slopes.
Optical Insert
All Rudy Project snow goggles are compatible with our optical insert which mounts inside the goggle to provide the corrective vision required while maintaining an amazing field of view.
IMPACTX® PHOTOCHROMIC LENSES
Spincut goggles are available with photochromic ImpactX® lenses. This means they get dark from low to high light transmission within few seconds and reaching a custom color from an initial clear state. They enhance contrast, improve visual acuity and depth perception. ImpactX® lenses are 16% lighter than CR-39 and 10% lighter than polycarbonate; they have lower internal stress and chromatic dispersion than polycarbonate, resulting in sharper images, higher definition, reduces “rainbowing”, and more visual comfort.
