Rudy Project athlete Jared Ward is the top ranked male marathon runner in the USA. His major 2020 goal is to place top-3 in at the Olympic trials in Atlanta in the spring and qualify for the US Olympic men's marathon team to compete in Tokyo.

Jared finished third in the 2016 US Olympic marathon trials. That year he went on to place 6th overall in 2016 Summer Olympics men's marathon held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Jared balances his competitive running pursuits with a teaching position at Brigham Young University and his own personal coaching business.
