      Great glasses, transformers!

extremely adjustable from nose to ears and if you add on the Chromatic Kit they get better.

      Defender Photochromic

I purchased a custom frame/lens combo directly through Rudy Project. Their customer service was great, and the custom combo was well worth the added $10. I went with the Graphene frame with Clear to Laser Red Photochromic lens. For me, these are the first frames that have EVER fit comfortably with low profile cycling helmets. I have found that the (non-adjustable) temples on other glasses would be too long and/or bulky, and either the helmet would have to be moved around to accommodate them, and/or would cause pressure points or movement of the frame that would result in having to frequently readjust them. The temple shape and adjustability of the Defenders have done away with my prior fit issues, and they really do seem to disappear. I thought that the top edge of the Defender frame might be a bit bulky, and I figured that I would primarily use these for the MTB (more upright positioning), but even in the drops on the road bike, the top edge of the lens isn't visible for me. I took these for some trail runs as well, and the contact points kept the frame well planted, and they required no readjustments. The Graphene frame is lightweight, ventilation seems to work well (although I don't live in a humid climate), and the distortion-free optics of their photochromic lens is fantastic. These are some great sport glasses.

      Great sunglasses

Really love them and well worth it. Maybe you can make yellow lenses for these for overcast days.
