Rydon Replacement Lenses

They are very good. I bought reader lenses last year to replace my 20+ years old photochromic original lenses, but they broke within a couple of months. The material seems very brittle and fragile. These seem to be as good as my original and I think they respond much quicker to change from going dark to clear when light fades. Also, the amplitude between clear and dark seems to be more pronounced. If they were available with the reader option, it would be the perfect product for me.

I ordered the regular transparent lenses, and I found they are actually the wrong size. When I overlap with the lenses that my Rydon glasses came with, it is just slightly bigger, so I can't even use them.

I use these photochromic lenses for a lot of activities including hiking, mountain biking and snowshoeing in varying light conditions including deep wooded trails. Photochromic lenses really work for changing light conditions. In low to moderate light they are a subtle reddish brown that increases contrast and are not too dark. In brighter light they are more of a pleasant copper gold colour. The laser coating adds a subtle reddish gold mirror effect. Highly recommended for varying light conditions.
