I just bought my 5th set of frames. Love the frames says Capt Obvious. Luckily I collected a bunch of lenses over the last 15 years. The original lense bridge closed tightly but was redesigned as they broke easily. These glasses always had premium fit and feel while biking, boating, or Bs’ing. High prescription options are needed. Come On Rudy!!
Bought these really as a back up for a pair I purschssed three years ago. Best decision I ever made concerning eyewhere. They are lightweight and comfortable without sacrificing durability as I put these through some rough everyday where. It’s nice to perform athletically not having to worry about the stress on my frames. I also really like the ease of flipping up the shades thru out daily wear. It’s unique people take notice and I get lots of compliments whether using the clip in or not. My only worry is Rudy may be discontinuing the line and that’s why I got the second pair. They are still in the box as my three year olds still have a lotta life in them.
I purchased these to replace my Rudy Project RB3 that I've owned for a number of years but, unfortunately, RP no longer have replacement lenses available. Unlike the RB3 the EXCEPTION has a ratcheting system when you "flip up" which works fine. However, when flipping down the lens does not come all the way down without pinching the bridge which really requires removing the glasses to do so. I checked with RP to see if mine were defective but it seems that they are that way by design. Don't know why and doesn't work for me.
