Started wearing your glasses when racing criteriums for a team in the United States.
It wasn't only because you were a sponsor, the lenses were and still are in my opinion the best.
The clarity has always been spot on.
The range of transition is greater than all the competition that I have researched.
They do tend to ' lock up ' when left in my helmet and a sliver of sunshine gets in and darkens just a small spot. Takes a hot minute to even out again .
My only nagging complaint is that replacement lenses just are not readily available. Three different models.
There are companies making some replacements but not up to par.
Not wanting to think you are playing us consumers by ending availability there by steering us to buy a new model with same features.
They are good, but they do scratch eventually.
Unfortunately, the replacement lenses were much darker than my original ones.
I got these lenses to switch out... let's be honest, mostly for matching my kits. Super easy pop in and out. Great lenses, love the transition for lighting too.
Coming from a road helmet, this one was fantastic! They were able to get it to me before a 70.3 despite having some warehouse issues. So, not only am I happy with the product, customer service is also great!
I love these sunnies! They are so functional and look pretty damn cool, too. They fit me well. cut down the bright glare of Sierra sun, still work when it’s a bit overcast and keep the wind out of my eyes. I rode my MTB yesterday on pretty dusty single track in +20 mph wind and didn’t get any dust or wind in my eyes. I have the Spinshield Air, too, but the Thunder fits me better. I don’t find smudges from my face on the lenses.
Got it the week be IM CHATTANOOGA and had it dialed in after one ride. It was only mid-80's out, but the vent worked well.
