"Rudy Project has released an aero helmet that’s not only faster in more positions, but also arguably the most elegant aero design around. Rather than complicating their new design with tons of added features and gadgets, Rudy has actually made the new Wing even sleeker and more minimal than their previous offering...
"The end result is one of those rare moments when engineering and design hit the sweet spot—looking good on paper while looking good in the box. The new Wing is a vast, simplistic improvement on an already well-loved design."
Rudy helmet saved my life. Crashed my TT bike and the helmet took full force of the impact. I did not even have a headache after my head hit the road.
I recently used the Rudy Project - Wing Helmet during the Ironman 70.3 in Goa, and it truly impressed me. Right from the start, the helmet’s sleek design caught my attention, giving off a professional, aerodynamic look. It’s lightweight and fit comfortably, which was important for a long event like this. Despite wearing it for hours, I didn’t feel any discomfort, which speaks to its well-thought-out design and quality materials.
In terms of performance, this helmet delivered on its promise. The shape is crafted to reduce wind resistance, helping me maintain speed with less effort. Even though it’s built for aerodynamics, I was pleasantly surprised by the ventilation. It kept me cool enough despite Goa’s heat and humidity, though it can feel a bit warm on extremely hot days.
The helmet also comes with a clear visor that provides great visibility and shields your eyes from harsh sunlight. It’s easy to adjust or remove, making it versatile depending on personal preference. Overall, the Rudy Project - Wing Helmet is an investment, but for anyone serious about cycling or triathlons, it’s a fantastic choice that combines style, comfort, and performance.
Had a skating crash yesterday and landed hard on the back of my head. The RSRmicro straps broke free and cushioned my head so I got a goose egg on my head but no concussion! I am ordering a new one so I can get back to practice.
Mine are brown frames with brown-green lenses. They remind me of the Spinair with a hint of aviator. Lightweight. Many compliments!
I like the wide field of vision and they are very high quality. Crystal clear lenses. They are bit wider fit vs the non-prescription Cutline pair that I own given less lens curvature of the prescription version.
