Wind Shield Lens
The Cutline wraparound rimless shield lens is designed to ensure superior eye protection all while expanding your field of vision. The shape of the lens delivers maximum visibility in riding position and protects your eyes from wind, dust and atmospheric elements
ADJUSTABLE NOSEPAD AND TEMPLE TIPS
The soft adjustable nosepad offers an exceptional fit for any shape of face. This system also allows to adjust the glasses’ height and their distance from the face to prevent misting. Adjustable temple tips ensure fully-customised fit and a perfect grip. Simply apply a gentle pressure to adjust these terminals in any direction
To accelerate heat evaporation, Cutline features the Rudy Project proprietary Power Flow System. The combined action of the 4 vents on the lens with the ones placed on temples and bumpers enhances air circulation to avoid the risk of fogging during the activity.
Cutline features a prescription Optical Insert for outdoor enthusiasts with corrective needs who want to benefit from the superior comfort and eye protection the Cutline sport sunglasses provide.
The Cutline are an awesome addition to your cycling gear. I tend to wear mine without any of the bumpers just for the look and the lightness (weight). I pair them with the Egos and the Nytron helmets and they both fit and look great. I have no complaints about these what so ever and will be buying another pair in a new frame color. If Rudy was to come out with a different lens style that would fit into these frames... that would be dope. 5 of 5, 10 of 10, 100% would recommend and will buy again.
If you wear a prescription, the Rudy Project Cutline sport glasses and corresponding insert (Semi Rimless Rx Insert for Shield Sunglasses) are, quite simply, the best available option in the marketplace. They are comfortable, adjustable, offer the most protection from the wind, and provide for the best vision possible. For years I wore Oakley sunglasses and wonder, now, why I didn't switch to Rudy Project much sooner than I did. It is Rudy Project from now on!
PS: I use these glasses for cycling
The Laser Purple Photochromic lenses (8% to 48%) provide excellent coverage and superior relief from the relentless Florida sun while transitioning quickly in the shade and when the afternoon clouds roll in. Unlike other wraparound lens glasses, they don't fog up as I transition from the air conditioning to the outdoors. The notepad and temple tips adjusted quickly and have needed no further adjustment. The Cutline feel light on my face, and it's easy to forget I have them on. I've also dropped them a few times, but they remain scratch free. The only enhancement I'd like to see is a better fit when storing them in my Egos helmet. Every time I dropped them, I'd stuck them in my helmet, and they fell when I leaned forward.
The Kelion glasses did not disappoint. First impression out of the box was how incredibly light they are, even more so than Spinshields. The fit is excellent and what I have come to expect from Rudy Project. The Kelion shape provides outstanding coverage and blocks wind and excellent side vision. Currently they are my go to glasses for road and gravel.
The Fluo kits look great, but mine (Fluo Red) faded to almost white in about 18 months with about 6-10 hours per week of outdoor use. This is not covered by warranty so I would avoid. Surprised to see a quality sun wear brand like Rudy Project making products that don't do well in the sun!
When I enquired I was told that this is a known problem, but I don't see it mentioned ahead of purchase on e-commerce sites like this one.
Extremely comfortabl and lightweight helmet. Plenty of airvents to keep me cool. Shape and colors make this look fast.
