GOGGLE COMPATIBLE

With the rise in popularity of bike park and enduro style mountain biking, more riders are choosing to wear goggles to protect their eyes. Protera+ features a goggle strap clip on the back of the helmet to ensure proper strap retention and comfort.

EPS IN MOLD CONSTRUCTION

In-Mold technology allows us to cast the external polycarbonate outer shell directly during the injection stage of the expandable polystyrene (EPS) impact-absorbing foam. The result is a much more rigid structure which is knock-resistant and extremely light, allowing for better ventilation system. The combined action of the EPS structure, the polycarbonate cap and exo-skeleton creates resistance to the mechanical action exercised by an impact and dissipates the energy in order to prevent it from being transferred to the head of the person wearing the helmet.

Removable Quick Change Strap

The Quick Change Strap lock system is one of our most innovative and user-friendly helmet solutions. This feature allows a simple and user-friendly removal of the straps and is available for the Central and Protera models. With a simple clic, you can now clean your straps after your daily ride, change them when worn out, or easily interchange them with optional colors for a unique custom look.

What helmet? I keep forgetting it’s on!

Rudy Project has managed to creat a sublime work of art that is secure, safe and oh so comfortable. I find myself thinking I only have a beanie on. Super solid and innovative, love the ability to maintain the straps or replace. As for MIPS, appears this is addressed- just not listed as it’s implemented slightly modified. Best helmet ever - I’m 63, riding XC/AM for over 30 years.

First Rudy helmet and the fit, finish and quality are top notch. I usually wear a size 7 hats and the S/M fits me perfectly.
