Here at Rudy Project, we take pride in the accomplishments of all our athletes, from all backgrounds and at all ability levels. Each month we will showcase one of our “BRO” athletes who is an amateur competitor doing amazing things on and off the race course. Learn about this month’s star, Chris Bretoi, below:
Chris Bretoi is a marathon inline skater and avid athlete. Chris’s athletic background is very diverse, including football, soccer, tennis, lacrosse, and hockey; playing hockey and lacrosse at the collegiate level. In 1989, Chris lost a leg when he was hit by a car while changing a flat tire on the interstate. Because of his passion for sports and his indomitable spirit, Chris immediately found ways to get back out and enjoy sports, starting in a wheelchair on the tennis court, to using a prosthetic in a hockey league and eventually Chris moved into inline skating with a focus on marathons. Let’s all wish Chris luck as this weekend he takes on the Northshore Inline Marathon once again in Duluth, Minnesota!
What’s black and white and red all over? The Ayron helmet of course! Sorry we don’t offer this model anymore, but be sure to check out the Sterling with a very similar color scheme – a new design for 2016!
From across the vast internet to right in our own back yard, here are some of the coolest photos, videos & stories that have been shared with us lately. Most of them, sent to us from people just like you, Rudy Project fans! Take a moment if you haven’t already, and connect with us on social media – keep sending us your photos, videos & stories – we’ll be sure to share them with the world!
