Team Jelly Belly p/b Maxxis was thrilled to have Sergi Tvetcov on the second step of the podium the final day.
The climbs in the first stage of the women’s race pulled the peloton through Garden of the Gods, a park well known for epic sandstone formations, and named thus when a man named M.S. Beach claimed it would be a “capital place for a beer garden.” His friend Rufus Cable claimed it would be a fit place for gods to assemble, thus the name “Garden of the Gods.” (true story, look it up!)

The lapped layout of the courses for the men’s race made it an exercise in cornering.

Colavita-Bianchi’s game face was well-rewarded, with a podium finish for rider Abigail Mickey.
Colorado is a cycling state! The fans were out in force for the women’s teams as they rode in Colorado Springs and Breckenridge, where the high altitude and quick paces made it hard for any attacks to stick.
Jelly Belly Cycling p/b Maxxis made a strong showing with a stage win in Stage 3 for Sergei Tvetcov. Faster racing and smaller teams with shorter stages favored a dynamic race.
